This is fine to land, LGTM. I have a few remarks inline that can be addresses in
the future. Why aren't we using border-background-image instead four images
positioned on corners? I use http://border-image.com/ to preview the how an
image will look for a given set of properties.

I don't think anchors can be empty. In lp we placed the text in the anchor, but
set the left-margin or something to be 4ems beyond the possible width of the
background image. This doesn't need to change now.
